The Glass Pyramid Sabancı Congress and Exhibition Center, usually abbreviated as the Glass Pyramid, (Turkish Cam Piramit Sabancı Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi) is a multi-purpose and congress complex in Antalya, Turkey. The two-storey building consists of five halls, the largest of which has a seating capacity of 2,400, an outdoor exhibition area of 15,000 m² and various other facilities. Architects Levent Aksüt and Yaşar Marulyalı designed the pyramid-shaped metal and glass building surrounded by circular decorative ponds. Located in the Hasan Subaşı Cultural Park, the complex has an enclosed area of 9,000 m² on two floors, with each floor measuring 4,500 m² and accessible from four sides.
The conference centre has a space frame roof over the main hall on the ground floor. It is 23 m high and covered with 5,710 m² of coloured titanium blue insulating glass.

The largest of the halls is named after the closely running Taurus Mountains. It has a capacity of 2,400 seats with telescopic platforms for conferences and an exhibition area of 3,036 m². The hall is equipped with multi-purpose audio, lighting and visual systems as well as a mobile simultaneous translation booth. Day 1: Arrival in Antalya
Charter flight from your chosen departure point to Antalya . Reception at the airport by our German-speaking tour guide. Then transfer to your hotel on the Turkish Riviera. Overnight stay with breakfast (2 nights).
Day 2: Information talk & orientation drive
After our information talk, our orientation tour begins. Your tour guide will introduce you to the history and geography of the region and give you detailed information about the rest of your trip. Optional half-day excursion to Phaselis and surroundings incl. lunch (29,- € per person).
In the immediate vicinity of Kemer is Phaselis, once one of the most important trading cities of the Turkish Riviera. Wander through the ruins, visit the thermal baths as well as the theatre and the large harbour, which was significant in ancient times. Spend some quality time on the kilometre-long fine sandy beach, breathe the fresh air and enjoy the tranquillity.
Day 3: Day: Drive to Pamukkale (*)
Drive through the dreamlike Taurus Mountains to the world-famous “Cotton Castle” Pamukkale – a name that melts on the tongue of every Turkey fan. Behind it is a geological wonder of superlatives, whose wispy white appearance was the inspiration for its name, meaning “cotton fortress”. The warm water has been cascading from one basin to the next since time immemorial, creating a breathtaking rock formation over thousands of years, which was not by chance elevated to World Heritage status by UNESCO in 1988. Tag 4: Pamukkale – Tavas – Antalya (*)
Today you will first head towards Tavas. Here, at an altitude of approx. 1200 m, you will visit a typical carpet village, where you can get to know the perhaps oldest art of the Turkic people through a demonstration on a multitude of knotting chairs and dyeing cauldrons. You will see a demonstration of how wool and silk are spun, dyed and knotted and how the world-famous Turkish carpets are made. The variety of pattern and colour combinations of finished pieces will fascinate you and give you an insight into the social aspects of rural life. Then continue to the Turkish Riviera. Overnight stay with breakfast in the Antalya area (1 night).
Day 5: Antalya city tour and drive to your hotel (*)
Antalya is the so-called Pearl of the Mediterranean and the largest city on the Turkish Riviera. A lively harbour city with flair awaits you. You will also have the opportunity to shop in a jewellery and leather shop with expert personal advice (duty and tax free) during today’s trip. Overnight stay with breakfast on the Turkish Riviera (3 nights).
Day 6: Pure relaxation at your seaside hotel
Today you can use your hotel facilities at leisure, or take part in the optional excursion “Manavgat river cruise incl. lunch” (€ 39,- price per person, bookable on site). You will visit the famous weekly market of Manavgat. After the market visit you will relax on a comfortable and cheerful boat trip to the mouth of the Manavgat River. Enjoy the scenery and, with a little luck, observe the numerous river turtles. In the evening, the gala evening takes place.
Day 7: At leisure
Enjoy the day at your hotel resort today or contact your guide for more optional excursion options in the area around your hotel.
